From Source

Turn selected material into a traceable draft

From Source turns material you already have into traceable drafts. Paste text, add a public article, X post, or YouTube link, or upload a document, recording, or video. The original source stays attached when the generated draft moves to Review.

Shape the draft

  • Draft from source — Select up to 20 ready sources, choose any supported draft destinations and an optional direction, then review the AI charge before generation starts. Connected destinations are labeled Connected; the rest are Draft only until you connect them. Nothing is scheduled or published.
  • Optional additions — Blog, Newsletter, and Hashtags all start off. Blog is a structured article. Newsletter adds its own subject, preview text, rich email body, and CTA-ready structure. Hashtags creates a ranked set for each draft destination and weaves the selected tags into that platform's caption.
  • Knowledge — Pin an existing library item when this draft must use it. Automatic knowledge and approved Voice Library evidence remain profile-wide context; you do not need to reselect them for every draft.

Supported sources

Paste text or add a public webpage, X post, or YouTube URL. Upload TXT, Markdown, CSV, PDF, DOCX, PPTX, MP3, M4A, WAV, WebM, OGG, FLAC, AAC, MP4, or MOV up to 25 MB. Private network URLs are blocked, files are streamed and signature-checked, and password-protected PDFs are not extracted.

Private transcription

Audio and video are prepared in bounded chunks and sent only through the configured OpenRouter speech-to-text allowlist with zero data retention required. Whisper Large V3 is the default after a controlled evaluation across quiet notes, mobile audio, interviews, background noise, accents, multilingual speech, jargon, and multiple speakers. You may choose another approved model before upload or retry.

Create a grounded draft

  1. Open Create → From Source.
  2. Add material, identify who created it, and confirm you have permission to use it.
  3. Wait for uploaded files to finish processing, then select the ready sources.
  4. Choose one or more draft destinations. You may draft for a platform before connecting its account.
  5. Optionally add Blog, Newsletter, Hashtags, or any combination, then add a direction.
  6. Review the source set, AI effect, and recovery path, then generate.
  7. Open Review to edit platform and long-form versions, attach media, request changes, schedule, or discard. A draft-only platform must be connected before scheduling or publishing.
A source does not become voice training material just because you used it for a draft. Add and approve it from Voice & knowledge when it should influence the profile beyond this one draft.

Demo behavior

The public demo mimics adding, processing, approving, and drafting from sources in the current browser session. It never calls a live transcription or generation provider, changes synced Simba records, spends credits, or keeps the temporary material after the session ends.
